Yacht Charter Okinawa: Published Prices, Boats and Ports
Contents
For a yacht charter in Okinawa, compare the departure port, boat and duration before comparing the price. FUZZY lists a seven-hour private charter at ¥242,000 per boat from Ginowan Marina. LAGOON lists a seven-hour day charter at ¥160,000 for up to four guests from Yonabaru Marina, with different guest limits and inclusions. Both amounts include tax. Operator information checked 5 November 2026.
The two day trips are not identical products. LAGOON's published day destinations are Kudaka or Tsuken, and it explicitly says its day plan does not go to the Kerama Islands. Choose the actual route you want, then ask the operator for availability and the final terms.
Abroad in Japan's video presents a private-yacht day in Okinawa. It offers a visual introduction to a creator's trip; use the operator tables below for the plans being compared here.

1Yacht charter Okinawa: compare the published plans
FUZZY publishes prices by boat and duration. LAGOON's day plan publishes a base amount for up to four guests, an additional-guest amount and a six-guest plan limit. These different units matter when your party is larger than the base group.
| Boat and plan | Published tax-included price | Published duration | Guests and inclusions | Booking source; checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FUZZY full day | ¥242,000 per boat | About seven hours | Published boarding guidance up to 20; ask for the plan's included items | S1; 5 Nov 2026 |
| FUZZY half day | ¥165,000 per boat | About four hours | Ask the operator about the selected programme | S1; 5 Nov 2026 |
| FUZZY sunset/night | ¥154,000 per boat | About three hours | Confirm the departure time and intended route | S1; 5 Nov 2026 |
| FUZZY one-night charter | ¥352,000 per boat | 24 hours over two days | Confirm overnight arrangements and accepted party size | S1; 5 Nov 2026 |
| LAGOON full day | ¥160,000 for up to four guests; ¥40,000 per extra guest | Seven hours | Plan limit six; lunch, snorkel set, SUP and towel rental included | S2; 5 Nov 2026 |

The table deliberately keeps each operator's unit. A price per boat is not a price per person, and a boat's technical passenger capacity is not the same as the number accepted on a particular tour. Ask the operator to confirm the party you actually plan to bring.
For the LAGOON day plan, the source specifically lists lunch, a snorkel set, SUP and towel rental. That list does not establish the food choices or dietary adjustments for your party. Put those questions into the booking enquiry rather than assuming that an included lunch will suit every guest.
For FUZZY, ask for the selected plan's inclusions before treating the listed boat price as a complete trip budget. The source details used here do not resolve every charge, transport arrangement or optional item. A final written quote is the right place to settle those details.
2Yacht charter Okinawa: pick Ginowan or Yonabaru
FUZZY departs from Ginowan Marina. Its boarding guidance asks guests to reach the port independently by 30 minutes before departure. Confirm the exact meeting point with the operator and save the Ginowan Marina map. Source:([1]), checked 5 November 2026.
LAGOON uses Yonabaru Marina, at 70 Agarihama, Yonabaru. The operator lists parking at ¥300 per day. Save the Yonabaru Marina map and the operator's contact details before you travel. Source: LAGOON's access information, checked 5 November 2026.
These are separate ports. Do not ask a driver simply for “the yacht marina” and assume that the operator will depart from the port nearest your hotel. Give the port name and the booking's specific meeting point.
For a group arriving separately, share the same map pin and meeting instructions. Make the time in your group message the agreed meeting time, rather than the advertised sailing time. FUZZY's half-hour arrival requirement is a good example of why those are not interchangeable.
LAGOON's model day gives an 08:45 meeting, 09:00 departure and 16:00 return. It is a model schedule for the seven-hour day trip, not a live sailing confirmation for every date. Ask the operator which timing applies to your reservation.([2]), checked 5 November 2026.
The same distinction matters for a sunset or night plan. FUZZY publishes an approximate three-hour duration, but that alone does not establish when your evening starts. Confirm it with the operator before arranging dinner or another reservation on land.
3Yacht charter Okinawa: day destinations and overnight routes
LAGOON's published day destinations are Kudaka Island or Tsuken Island. Its day-charter page explicitly excludes the Kerama Islands from that product. A video showing beautiful water around Okinawa cannot override the route of the plan you actually reserve. Day-charter source.
Its overnight page describes a two-night, three-day Kerama example, leaving Yonabaru at 09:00. The operator describes seven to eight hours of sailing to Kerama in that example. It also says overnight stays can include mooring in port. Overnight source, checked 5 November 2026.
That example explains why a day charter and an overnight island trip are different decisions. Do not convert the overnight route into a seven-hour day outing, or assume that every night means sleeping at anchor offshore. Discuss the actual itinerary, mooring and onboard arrangements with the operator.
If your main wish is a particular island, begin your enquiry with that island name. Ask which boat, port and length of charter would fit it. A general destination article can give ideas, but it cannot establish a boat's route, sailing time or access arrangements on your date.
The plans compared here depart from Okinawa's main-island ports. They do not establish a charter from Ishigaki, Miyako or another island group. Keep the port in your search and booking messages so that an island-hopping idea does not become a transfer you never intended.
4Yacht charter Okinawa: boat layout and group size
FUZZY is described as a catamaran. LAGOON's boat is BLACK BULL, a LAGOON400s2. Its published dimensions are 11.97 metres long and 7.25 metres wide. The boat page lists ten people as its capacity and four people as its overnight capacity. It describes two guest rooms, each with individual air conditioning. BLACK BULL boat details, checked 5 November 2026.
The LAGOON day plan nevertheless has a six-person limit. Use the six-person plan limit when enquiring about that day charter. Do not take the technical ten-person boat figure as permission to add four more guests to the product.
Ashley Michaels's video is titled around the Black Bull Okinawa charter. It is a useful companion to the named-boat information, while the operator remains the source for the current plan's guest limits.

Before booking, explain your party's needs. Ask about boarding, moving around the boat, toilets, seating and the equipment offered for children or anyone needing assistance. The published dimensions alone cannot establish whether those arrangements will suit an individual guest.
If you are considering an overnight trip, ask how sleeping arrangements work for your party. Two guest rooms and a four-person overnight capacity do not automatically answer bed configuration, privacy or every onboard service question. Let the operator confirm those details in the itinerary and quote.
5Booking steps, weather questions and final costs
Use the operator's official enquiry route once you know the likely plan. LAGOON has a reservation-application entrance on its official site. For FUZZY, use the enquiry information on the official yacht page. An application is a request until the operator confirms the reservation.
- Send the date, boat or plan, party size and desired destination through the official contact route.
- Ask the operator to confirm the departure marina, meeting location, arrival time and intended return time.
- Request an itemized quote identifying the boat or group charge, additional guests, included food and equipment, and any separate costs.
- Ask about the skipper arrangements, insurance and passenger conditions for that exact booking.
- Ask who decides whether a trip runs, when you receive that decision and what happens if the route changes.
- Request the cancellation, refund and rescheduling terms before accepting the booking.
- Confirm the required payment method and keep the confirmation available with the port map.
Weather and cancellation conditions were not established in the operator details used for this comparison. Do not assume that a calm-looking creator video guarantees the conditions on your date, or that a cancellation always leads to a particular refund. The important information is the operator's written terms for your selected plan.
K-Yano's video is described as a charter cruise departing Chatan. It shows a separate departure context in Okinawa, not one of the Ginowan or Yonabaru products compared above. Keep that distinction when looking for visual ideas.

For the land portion of the trip, our Japan cash or card guide helps prepare payment questions, and our Japan bus guide explains wider transport planning. Compare the charter with the rest of your trip in our Japan budget travel guide. Those guides do not replace the boat operator's conditions.
A final comparison before you send the enquiry
Read your proposed outing in one sentence: the named boat, leaving its named port, for the stated duration, with your actual number of guests. Then check that each part belongs to the same operator. This simple check prevents a very expensive misunderstanding: choosing one boat's lower base price, another boat's higher capacity and a third video's island destination.
For example, the LAGOON full-day description connects the four-guest base amount, six-guest plan limit, included lunch and Kudaka-or-Tsuken destinations. The BLACK BULL specification page adds information about the vessel, but does not change those day-plan terms. FUZZY's seven-hour amount and Ginowan departure belong to a different offer. Neither can be substituted into the other's booking form.
Keep the distinction between an evening outing and overnight accommodation just as clear. FUZZY's sunset/night plan is described as about three hours; its one-night plan is a 24-hour product. The word “night” alone therefore does not tell you whether a booking includes sleeping aboard. State which published plan you mean, and ask for its exact beginning, end and accommodation arrangements. That is a more reliable starting point than selecting a yacht from a photograph alone.
Can LAGOON's day charter visit Kerama?
Its published day-charter page says no. Kudaka or Tsuken are the day destinations. The operator describes Kerama separately in a two-night, three-day overnight example.
Is FUZZY's ¥242,000 price per person?
No. The published seven-hour full-day amount is per boat, including tax. Ask for the exact plan's inclusions and accepted party size.
Does LAGOON's ten-person boat capacity mean ten day guests?
No. The named day plan has a six-person limit. The technical boat capacity is a separate number and does not override the plan limit.
What does the LAGOON day price include?
The day page lists lunch, snorkel-set rental, SUP and towel rental. The base amount covers up to four guests, with an additional-guest charge and a maximum of six for that plan. Ask about individual needs when enquiring.
How should I choose between the boats?
Start with your departure port, party size, time available and desired destination. Then compare the complete quotations. The lowest-looking amount is not necessarily for the same route, duration or included services.
